249 HCSD Storefront

The Storefront is becoming the asset we had projected!! A community project can only be as good as the community will allow it to become and the Storefront is doing great thanks to your support.

On the day before Christmas, a lady and her ten year old child came into the Storefront to show the child's much improved report card. Deputy Lemon had talked to this child in Northwest Park about the importance of getting good grades in school. The Storefront did make a difference in at least one family in our community.

Last week a father came into the Storefront to tell Deputy Robeaux that his family was back on track since they had spent the afternoon at the Storefront getting to know their own family and making new friends. Again, the Storefront made a difference.

Two Family Violence Detectives have joined our original Storefront Deputies at 13612 Tomball Parkway. We certainly welcome them to our growing family. Plus, Northwest Assistant Ministries has assigned another Family Councilor to work with the Detectives.

Two additional offices are to be constructed for the Detective and Family Councilor completing the initial phase. The completion of the Community Room is scheduled to become a reality in the very near future.

The Storefront is making a positive impact on our community. Thanks to each of the community subdivisions who supported our initial funding raising with their donation and many thanks to each Security Coordinator for supporting this new endeavor. Please express to your Board of Directors our most sincere thanks for their support and trust in the Sheriff's Department for making this work.

Please feel free to stop in and visit our storefront, children are especially welcome.
