Sheriff’s Department Begins
R.A.D. For Kid’s Program

R.A.D. Kids is a program that was developed to teach kids how to get away from an abductor.  The kids are taught three basic principles.  Hit Hard! Yell Loud!  Run Fast!

The R.A.D. Kid’s Objectives are to provide educational opportunities for children and parents, concerning awareness and self defense strategies as well as instilling confidence and reducing the possibility of adverse physical control and/or harm.

The R.A.D.Kid’s program is a testament to the Harris County Sheriff’s Department commitment to the youth in our community.  To sign up for R.A.D. (either children or adult) call the S.H. 249 Store Front at 281-445-9892.  All classes are free.
