The May 18th meeting was well attended. NWSCA was able to honor
both Captain Price and Captain Smith. There were several District
Four Security Coordinators attending their first meeting with us.
We welcome and thank them for coming as well as welcome their input as
we continue to grow.
Captain C. Price was presented a plaque thanking him for his outstanding
dedication and work with the NWSCA. He will be greatly missed and
we wish him well in his new position. Captain Smith spoke to many
of us for the first time. He gave a brief background
and spoke of his ideas that will slowly take effect.
Since our meeting, a few changes have already begun - one being the
bidding process in July. With this, a lot of deputy changes were
made.
NWSCA will also be going through some changes for the rest of the year.
We will begin to have our meetings at Judge McElroy’s Chamber at the Cypresswood
Substation District One. We have reserved the August 17th date
as well as the November meeting date. Hopefully this meeting place
will be permanent.
Please do not hesitate to call upon any of our officers if your subdivision
needs guidance in their contract deputy program. On behalf of the
NWSCA we offer congratulations to Deputy Morrow for his continued
outstanding service to our community. |
